AS 532 Cougar - Heller 80365
The kit includes decals and paint schemes two versions from Spain and Venezuela respectively; the first has a dark green color scheme, the second has a camouflage color scheme. The two models are 99% common with only a few EW antennas being optional depending on which version you decide to build.
The instructions is 8 black/white pages with 6 build steps.
Pros
- Decals and paint scheme for two different versions
- Decals for cockpit instruments.
- Easy build for beginnes; no drilling or cutting required.
Cons
- The sprues require some cleaning up before assembly
- Some issues with parts not fitting – plastic putty is a must!
- I am not sure this is actually 1:72 scale as it seems smaller than my other 1:72 models…
Conclusion
This is the worst kit I have build in a long time… I had some issues with gluing the small glass parts and the large glass part did not fit nicely to the fuselage so I had to use more plastic putty than I usually expect. However, I will still give this kit 1 star because of decals and paint schemes for two versions + decails for cockpit instruments. But I will likely not buy another Heller kit again anytime soon…
